Explorations

I keep testing new AI tools and ways of working, a few hours every week. The brands and briefs on this page are fictional and these are quick experiments, so some details may be off. Client work is different: every detail is checked, from strategy to a finished design built to last.

How ultrasound works

Echoa Fictional brand

The fictional brief

A self-initiated concept project based on a fictional brief: the MedTech company Echoa needed a short animation for its website explaining the basic principle behind diagnostic ultrasound – how a sound pulse, its echoes and their return times build an image of the inside of the body – for viewers who have never seen an ultrasound system.

What I tested

I created it with Claude in a single afternoon, from storyboards and fact-checked explanations to a finished 2.5D animated film built in ManimGX, with an English voice-over generated with ElevenLabs, that follows a pregnancy scan from the first sound pulse to the image of the baby.

Launch & website October 2026

Radiel Prep, from product image to website

Radiel Bio Fictional brand

Visit the website Opens in a new tab. The site is a fictional design concept.

The fictional brief

Radiel Bio is an imagined life-science company launching a benchtop instrument that prepares liquid samples inside a sealed cassette. The brief asked for product imagery, a clear explanation of how the cassette works and a product website. It had to look like a serious lab instrument, yet be clear to a lab manager in seconds.

What I tested

Taking one product all the way from AI-generated imagery and a technical illustration to a working, responsive website built with Claude. The concept site is built and clickable, so you can try it.

Explainer film September 2026

From sunlight to your home

Klara Energi Fictional brand

The fictional brief

Klara Energi is an imagined solar company selling panels to homeowners who have never thought about electrons. The brief asked for a short film for its website and social channels that explains how sunlight becomes electricity in the home. It had to feel calm, friendly and premium, avoid jargon and still make sense with the sound off.

What I tested

Making a complete explainer film with Claude, from script and storyboard to animation written in code, with an AI voiceover from ElevenLabs. Six storyboard rounds and nine film versions, all in half a day.

How we measure with light

Perilume Fictional brand

Dark infographic explaining pulse oximetry, with a cut-away fingertip inside a clip sensor and three steps: light passes through, a detector measures it, the signals are compared

The fictional brief

Perilume is an imagined MedTech brand with a finger-clip sensor. The brief asked for one infographic that explains pulse oximetry to patients and to the clinics that buy the clip. It should feel like a high-end consumer product, dark and premium, while staying medically accurate and honest about what can affect a reading.

What I tested

Using AI image generation for a photoreal product render and a cut-away view of the fingertip, then retouching it and combining it with precise information design. The facts are checked against NIH/NHLBI and FDA sources.

Presentation October 2026

Gripla product deck

Gripla Health Fictional brand

Slide 1: Make hand training visible. A hand squeezes the Gripla sensor while a live reading shows 18.4 kg Slide 2: From exercise to follow-up, three steps from connecting the sensor to following training data on a tablet Slide 3: Progress you can measure, the sensor on its dock next to three benefits for physiotherapy clinics

The fictional brief

Gripla Health is an imagined company making a grip-strength sensor. The brief asked for a short presentation to introduce it to physiotherapy clinics, with a sense of high quality and warmth, closer to a design object than a medical device, and a deck the sales team could present in three minutes.

What I tested

How far I could get in two hours. I created the product imagery with AI, tried ceramic, copper and silicone finishes before choosing one, and designed three slides around the images.

Brand directions October 2026

Five brand directions for one device

Tovane Fictional brand

Five brand directions for the fictional company Tovane, each with logo approach, photograph, typefaces and palette

The fictional brief

Tovane is an imagined MedTech company with a wearable vital-signs sensor. The brief asked for a few clearly different ways the brand could look and sound, so a team can compare them before choosing a route.

What I tested

Looking at MedTech brands for patterns, then building five complete one-page guidelines with Claude, with AI-generated photography art-directed to one shared brief.
