01 - Creative Duality

Curious by nature.
Clear by design.

I move between tactile creative practice and structured medtech communication. Painting teaches me to observe; design helps me organize. Together, they shape how I translate complex product data into clear, human-centered visuals.

I recently created The Art of Focus, an interactive art book about slowing down, noticing more, and creating with presence. I launched and sold the first edition at the A La London design market in Gothenburg in autumn 2025.

04 - About

The person behind
the design.

I’m Michelle Arborelius - a curious designer, doer and mum based in Gothenburg, Sweden.

I help medtech companies turn complex product data into clear, compliant, and thoughtful communication. I love projects that require both structured systems and a delicate eye for detail - whether that's automating a NiceLabel workflow or designing a clean, user-friendly instruction manual.

Alongside my design work, I’m a dedicated maker. I've always loved creating with my hands - watercolor painting, silver jewelry, tufting, and cyanotype. Exploring different mediums feeds my curiosity, refines my attention to detail, and keeps my design perspective fresh.

Interactive Art Book

The Art of Focus

in a world of noise

A Simple Sanctuary for the Mind

In a world that constantly pulls at our attention, finding a moment of quiet focus can feel impossible. Notifications, the endless scrolling on our screens, and our minds race from one distraction to the next.

The Focus Book was created as a physical, tactile sanctuary. It is an invitation to slow down, disconnect from screens, and train your focus on one single shape, color, or line at a time.

The book was launched and sold at the A La London design market in Gothenburg during autumn 2025, where it resonated deeply with people looking for a tactile pause in their daily routine.

How It Works

  • 01
    Observe the Art

Open any page and let your eyes wander softly across the abstract watercolor. Don't search for anything in particular; simply notice the colors, shapes, and textures as they are.

  • 02
    Place the Sheet

Place the transparent sheet over the page. Use a whiteboard pen and gently trace the contours, lines, or hidden figures that stand out to you in that moment.

  • 03
    Find Your Focus

As your eyes and hand work together, the outside noise begins to fade. This simple, meditative act of tracing is a powerful exercise in grounding yourself in the present moment.
